According to Albina, Timur's aunt, who raises him with his grandmother, he loved singing from an early age. He got into music school after an audition for the People's Artist of Russia Dolores Bilaonova.

Impressed with the boy's talent, Bilaonova set about teaching him. Timur performed on stage for the first time at her birthday party - he sang Inal, an Ossetian song.

The list of competitions in which Timur has had the opportunity to show his worth is impressive: among them "Russian Ball in Vienna" for which he received a diploma "For contribution to the development of Russian culture abroad" and "Kinotavrik" international competition, which brought him a first-class diploma. In addition to competitions and festivals, Timur took part in the Elena Obraztsova Foundation prize-giving ceremony.

In 2013, Timur Slanov had his first solo concert in Vladikavkaz. Timur now lives in Switzerland and is perfecting his vocal technique with teachers.
